Kevin showed his thorough understanding in the project by not only fulfilling the client's requirements but also actively contributing his own innovative ideas. This played a key role in ensuring the client was thoroughly satisfied with the outcome. I could always count on Kevin to adhere to agreements and meet deadlines, and I eagerly anticipate working on more projects together!
Project Manager at Madhat GmbH
I met Kevin as a client and video game developer. I worked for him in several of his projects. He has always been ambitious, pushing the boundaries of his knowledge and skillset, and a great motivator, both for himself and for the people that work for him.
Systems Architect for "Kingdom Death"
My portfolio includes numerous interactive product presentations, specifically suited for trade shows, museums, and online use. Whether you wish to display multilingual texts, images, videos, or complex 3D models - I have extensive experience with these. The data is always prepared in such a way that it is easy to adjust and replace - ideally through remote maintenance.
For demanding and long-term projects, I also offer individually customized CMS solutions. Each project is unique, and you will receive a service from me that is precisely tailored to your needs.
Game Engine Royalties is a Tool to compare and find Game-Engine licenses and estimate total fees.
An AR application themed around light painting was to be implemented, allowing visitors to interact with virtual objects. This was achieved using user-tracking and masking with the help of RealSense technology. A challenge was to synchronize the 3D data scanned in real-time with the actual video recordings and ensure a smooth experience. The dimmed blacklight environment and the size of the facility posed additional hurdles. I fully supported madhat with development and the design of the app - up to the on-site installation.
Some time ago I developed my own videogame which was my biggest single project so far. Next to coordinating Freelance artists and programmers I also did and planned many aspects on my own, such as a parallel pathfinding system, a custom LOD or ECS system to boost performance before Unity DOTS existed.
I was making some of the concept and in-game art, the UI design and developed a number of tools for localization, asset merging or a system to customize character models. I also learned a lot about community management and how much I effort that requires.
